74% Of Dutch people are familiar with Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies

One of the most pro-crypto countries in the world is the Netherlands. Even back in 2017 more than 74% of Dutch people were familiar with cryptocurrencies. Currently the familiarity is likely much higher than 74% however, there aren’t official stats for 2018 yet.

According the a Dutch news source, 580,000 Dutch people own cryptocurrency. Additionally, the total amount of money Dutch people have in the market is well over a billion euros. This isn’t taking into account institutions that are investing and others that are looking to invest in the near future.
