Southeast Asia’s first fiat-crypto exchange launches in Singapore

Today, the release of Southeast Asia’s first fiat-crypto exchange in Singapore, EurekaPro, took place. EurekaPro was originally founded in Sweden and has since relocated to Singapore. In the first week of their beta public launch they “gained over 8,000 user signups.”

“The exchange will allow holders of the Singapore dollar, Malaysian ringgit, Indonesian rupiah, and other Asian fiat currencies to transact on the EurekaPro exchange.”

Southeast Asia's first fiat-crypto exchange launches airdrop

Currently, EurekaPro is running an airdrop worth over $100,000 USD. Their ERC-20 tokens are called EKT and serve as a way to make smooth transactions. This is because of EKT’s cross wallet and exchange compatibility.

For added security, Southeast Asia’s first fiat-crypto exchange in Singapore has two-factor authentication (2FA). Furthermore, they offer secure wallets with 24/7 operability and real-time transactions.

“Our platform represents a unique proposition for the blockchain space in Southeast Asia, by removing or reducing entry barriers to the crypto market that may otherwise prevent consumers from adopting blockchain technology EurekaPro aims to empower consumers with two things: the knowledge to harness the potential of blockchain through our online education platform; and the means to break into the crypto market by making fiat-to-crypto transactions easier.”

– Junus Eu, EurekaPro co-founder and CEO

The launch of EurekaPro comes shortly after Coinbase adds GBP deposit and withdrawal. As cryptocurrencies continue to evolve, ease of use for fiat-to-crypto exchanges will be increasingly important for mainstream adoption to occur. EurekaPro serves as an example of this growing need for better trading processes. Most importantly, they bring to light the potential value of offering a simplistic and streamlined fiat-crypto exchange.
